In order to further enhance the international competitiveness of its products, Hiuv announced on December 11th that it plans to set up a subsidiary in the United States to implement the polymer special film project.
This project is a deepened strategic technical cooperation between Hiuv and its industry partners in the United States, which is an important measure to achieve the localization of production and market expansion of the company's photovoltaic encapsulation film in the US market. The project is expected to have an investment of no more than $10 million.
Based on the current international environment and Sino-US relations, according to the company's overseas strategic layout and business development needs, Hiuv is accelerating its strategic layout in overseas markets and actively expanding into the US, Turkey, and India, etc. The company has previously provided technical licensing services to US-listed Fuller's film products to serve US PV module manufacturers. Recently, it has also launched further cooperation with Fuller to enhance its local film delivery capacity in the US. Through these approaches, the company effectively avoids or mitigates the negative impact of trade restrictions targeting Chinese and Southeast Asian photovoltaic enterprises in the US, while accelerating its internationalization process and enhancing its competitive advantage in the US.
